Privacy

Itinerarium has no account, no analytics and no third-party code. It collects nothing about you, and there is no server of ours for it to collect anything to.

Your trips

A trip is a file on your device. You choose where it lives — on the device, in iCloud Drive, in Files. We never see it. If you keep it in iCloud Drive it is stored in your own iCloud account under Apple's terms, not ours.

Reading a confirmation

When you hand Itinerarium a booking confirmation, a ticket, a photograph or a route, it is read on your device. The model that reads it is Apple's, running locally; text is recognised locally; a route is parsed locally. Nothing is uploaded, and the file stays inside your trip.

Looking a place up

The one thing that leaves your device is a place search. When an entry needs a coordinate, Itinerarium asks Apple's Maps service for the place you named. Apple receives that query and handles it under Apple's privacy policy. No trip, no document and no other entry is sent — only the words being searched for.

Your calendar

If you switch on the calendar mirror, Itinerarium writes the trip into a calendar of its own on your device, using the system's calendar. Whether that calendar then syncs anywhere is decided by your own account settings, not by us. The feature is off until you turn it on, and it touches no calendar but the one you name.

Assistants (macOS)

On the Mac you can let an AI assistant read the open trip over a local connection. The server is off until you switch it on for a trip, listens only on 127.0.0.1, and requires a token it generates. It is reachable only from your own machine. Which assistant you point at it, and what that assistant does with what it reads, is between you and whoever makes it.

Diagnostics

Itinerarium sends no crash reports or usage data of its own. If you have switched on Apple's own sharing of analytics with developers, Apple may send us crash reports; those come from Apple in aggregate and are governed by Apple's terms.

Your rights

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing to request, correct or delete. If you contact us by email, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to answer it.

Changes

This policy describes the app as shipped. If it changes, the new version ships with the app and is published at the same address.
